DESCRIPTION: Indian ambassador to Poland Mrs. Monika Kapil Mohta visited Gdansk on 25-26 Aug 2011. During her visit she met with Wojowoda Pomorski and the head of Indo-Polish Cultural Committee Mr. Sunil Ahuja. In the meeting Ambassador discussed about the coopration in the field of Culture and business in Pomorski region and India.

SUMMARY:"Sakuntalam" - A drama from the Mahabharata
DESCRIPTION:A Drama” Sakuntalam” from Epic Mahabharata was staged today in the Auditorium of Jagiellonian University by the students under the direction of Miss Klaudia Kuc who also played an important role of Sakuntala along with Mr. Adrian Piekarski as a King Dusyant. They were supported by many other students’ artists. The event was attended by the large number of people. Drama on Indian Epic Mahabhrat was performed by the Polish students first time in Poland. IPCC congratulate all the participants specially the director of the play Miss Klaudia Kuc for bringing Indian Heritage into mainstream of Poland.
